tor_men_torSyria's Western-backed political opposition bloc, the National Coalition for Syrian Revolutionary and Opposition Forces, has elected a new presidential committee and a president widely seen as not tied to any of the body's international sponsors.

Курды, что характерно, от участия в этой коалиции воздерживаются. Ну и правильно, у них своя игра.
Тем временем - Attackers have killed two Saudi Arabian border guards and injured another near the country's border with Iraq in a shooting and suicide assault
Грешат, что за атакой стоит Исламское Государство, но реальных доказательств по-видимому нет.
